In 1855 the "Mastro cappellaio" Guerra received the first
inquiry of hats for the Savoia army.
Craftsmen and real 'artists of the hat' joined the staff, leading
the hat-laboratory its maximum expansion.
The hat crisis of the '50s, oriented the exportation to far markets
and countries who appreciated the art, the passion and the strenght
of such particular product.
From that far 1855 lots of things have changed but the hat has
witnessed the events, covering heads of generals and rebels, business
men and craftsmen, scientists and writers, poets and reactionaries,
statesmen and presidents.
The felt quality hat, which was characteristic of GUERRA1855 more
then hundred years ago, has maintained its prestige and time by
time new materials and models have joined it. New and high quality
fabrics, like chasmere and alpaca, technic fabrics of amazing and
innovative solutions which represent a solid reference of GUERRA1855.
